AtWork is looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic(s) for a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Our customer, a national trailer distributor located in the west valley, is looking for a mechanic to repair and refurbish commercial vehicle trailers.

You will be performing maintenance on commercial trailers to keep them in safe operating condition and meeting DOT standards.

Repairs and maintenance will include the following.

• Trailer inspection, troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Brake and drum replacements
• Tire replacements and wheel seal replacements
• Siding/panel replacement
• exterior and interior repairs
• Some welding/fabrication
• Electrical wiring for lighting and refer

Skills/ Requirements

• Valid AZ Driver License, Commercial license is a +
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in last 39 months)
• Minimum of one year of verifiable related equipment repair and maintenance experience
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
• Must have own hand tools
• Welding certification is a +
• Ability to pass pre-employment background investigation and drug screening
